Happy #worldbookday due to a tumultuous home life and some dyslexia, I basically flunked out of high school. D average. As a result, I couldn't get into college until I went to community college for three years to get my grades up and save enough and then was able to make it over to Cal State Fullerton. This is the part where my ego wants to share I did have a 3.87 GPA in college:) Reading has saved me many times (the practicing of reading helped me, after many years LICK the bothersome parts of dyslexianess) and makes my brain and heart flexible and huge which is how I like my organ meats. I read books in packs like wolves. These are my current wolves. Reading helps everything. It's a brave, scary wonderful thing to keep learning and growing but delicious and worth it. Ps @brenebrown & @deepakchopra are re-reads because I love them so and @neilhimself I just started and toggle between the book and audiobook.
