Happy Earth Day! @changingtidesfoundation has come up with the #PlasticSwearJar challenge and it starts today! This is a cool way to bring awareness to how much single use plastics you purchase and use everyday. Each time you use or purchase a single use plastic item (most common items listed in second pic) it counts as a swear and a dollar goes into your jar (keep track in your phone notes or something as we don't always carry coins). I'm goin to do it for 7 days and I'll keep you posted on how I go. Remember it's not about being perfect but becoming aware. Plastics are a major problem for our wildlife, oceans and environment.
