We are in the Balat District. It's often called "the lesser known Istanbul". There are almost no tourists, instead there are lots of cats and retro bicycles and clotheslines instead of telegraph cables... After the loud Sultanakhmed, sleepless Taksim and fashionable Bebek, it seems like there is something special and touching about the silence of Balat. And it's just me and Murad sweeping through the narrow streets like two hurricanes.

Мы - в районе Балат. Его часто называют непарадным Стамбулом. Здесь почти нет туристов, зато много кошек и старых велосипедов, а вместо телеграфных проводов – бельевые веревки… После говорливого Султанахмета, бессонного Таксима и нарочито модного Бебека, кажется, что здесь царит какая-то особая, трогательная тишина. И только мы с Мурадом, как два урагана, проносимся по узким улочкам;)
