Who Am I?
Sometimes I'm confined within my comfort zones.
Sometimes I bump into my sharp edges.
I am what I've been told.
I am what I created.
Never do I fit the mold.
The ice beneath me cracks.
But it's not the winter that makes me cold.
It's my own borders that contain me.
And I keep running and reaching,
While my desires are preaching.
Always in motion,
I tumble and fall.
Then finally I see,
My borders and edges and zones
Are not what my mind thinks them to be.
I am free.
And I cannot contain myself.
My river is leaking into an ocean.
Cause every hurt created a hole.
Sun rays make their way
One by one into my soul.
Another gap between my thoughts.
Another glimpse of the infinite whole.
Another kind look at me.
I really am free.
Outside and inside are like a mirror.
It's all an illusion that makes me shiver.
How could I give,
If my own heart isn't full.
So instead of chasing, I stopped and looked.
I see no borders, only an endless flow.
This got me hooked
And I try to let go.
Of my own clouds,
Because words cannot describe
Because my feelings cannot hide
What I see has always been there
Patiently waiting
Spread my wings like a dove.
