SENIOR SUNDAY! @susiesseniordogs would like to introduce you to a pretty sweet pair. Meet adoptable doggies Chubby and Diamond! These two may look physically different, but their hearts couldn't be more connected and their shelter is trying hard to keep them together. Chubby is a 9 year old male dachshund and Diamond is an 11 year old female boxer mix. And they are absolute best mates! Chubby and Diamond have been at the shelter for over a month (located in Derwood, Maryland - just outside of Washington DC). Chubby and Diamond share the same kennel and every day they look out with wagging tails at visitors, just hoping someone will choose to take them both home together. They are both very friendly, and despite their age, very bouncy and playful, too! Diamond can even been seen playing with toys, just like a little puppy. But unfortunately, not a drop of adoption interest for these sweet senior lovebirds. It's especially hard to get noticed as an old dog at a shelter and many people can't see past a dog's age no matter how loving, sweet, and fun they are. But Chubby and Diamond are an adorable duo who are worth every minute of your attention. And we encourage you to pay them a visit...or even better, give them a forever home!
