There is an empathy in acting. It's putting yourself in someone else's shoes with a determination to find out who they are. Why people take certain actions. There is a selflessness in opening your heart to such vulnerability to understand the human condition. It even breaks your own along the way. We are all different. But we all experience loss, have broken hearts, it's where we are connected. I love the empathy, the understanding. And for this project loss was a central theme. But know this: the song may end, but the melody will live on in our head forever. You never forget a great song. Just like you never forget Whitney Houston and Bobbi Kristina. If those we love are stolen from us, we continue to love them by cherishing their memory. By singing their song. By taking a walk in their shoes and understanding. So open your heart to being broken. That's where true, authentic life lives.
