When Coachella debuted in 1999, the lineup was stacked with Detroit techno originators Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May, and Juan Atkins, all DJing in the Sahara Tent, as well as second wave Detroit techno icon @richiehawtin. All four DJs return to Coachella in 2017, with Saunderson, May, and Atkins kicking off their first official tour as @thebellevillethree and Hawtin debuting his new live show, CLOSE.
