Every Maundy Thursday, the day on which Christians commemorate the Last Supper of Jesus, The Queen distributes special Maundy money to local pensioners.

During her reign, The Queen has visited every Anglican Cathedral in England for the #RoyalMaundy service apart from Leicester Cathedral.

Tomorrow Her Majesty, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, will visit Leicester to distribute Maundy Money to 91 men and 91 women from across Leicestershire, one for each year of The Queen’s life.
