A new journey commences. And with it, a new companion, as springtime emerges with its soft breeze beckoning stories of old, memories yet to be formed and the promise of wonder ahead as nature unfurls in the light of the sun. The winter cleansing and quiet solace has purified the roots and strengthened the soil for richer blooms in wiser perennials. •
A new season is much like a new year for me and the first page of a notebook is a symbolic way to set the intention for the footsteps before me. Choosing the right instrument for the path ahead is the balance that sets the rhythm. They both go hand in hand - you simply cannot have one without the other.

In light of shedding old skins and dusty cocoons, the elements that no longer spring forth life are left behind to compost the flowerbed of sprouting blooms. It is a time for laying foundations and looking ahead. I could not think of a theme more apt than Fortitudo et Fides, which is why I have chosen the new @franklinchristoph Model 31 Omnis in its noble purple hue and presence to accompany me in the unknown frontier with the Olive Traveler’s Notebook. I find it fitting that the journal is an earthy green and the pen a majestic purple, like stem and blossom, a perfect pairing, harmony and balance for the open horizon ahead. •
