Congrats my Sweet Pea @kaya_callahan for making the Varsity CIF Team as a freshman!!!You've come a LONG way since this photo (5yrs old), and so has the sport! Cheer will Finally be considered an official CIF sport this coming year (as it should be!) and not a cute little entertainment club. Try hiking a 120lb chick over your head then throw her even higher?Or throw a clean round off back handspring back tuck..... Can't believe they're only just now recognizing these girls as athletes and as the dedicated sport it's been for decades. Congrats all!!!
