He is the greatest of all: a legendary tenor, a charismatic presence, a recognizable and superb voice. On the anniversary of his birth, I think of Franco Corelli with the devotion and the gratitude that I have always had for him, first as an admirer, and then as a pupil. When I first heard his voice, still a child, listening to him singing, on the family’s record player, I was really shocked. Perhaps it was thanks to that far, virtual, encounter (on the notes of the Andrea Chénier), that I started thinking of becoming, one day, an Opera singer. #FrancoCorelli

Nell’anniversario della sua nascita, penso a Franco Corelli con la devozione e la gratitudine che per lui ho sempre nutrito, prima da ammiratore poi da allievo.
