In Queens at @angelsclubnyc always a good time when I catch up with my good brothers. We're all Blessed to just be here. Talked about the history aspect in our journeys. We laughed and sipped cuz we been thru the most shit and SURVIVED and I love my WISE brothers for that. Legendary in our own right! Then on my way home right on time the song about my Hood from 1986 came on the radio! We grew up listening to this song about our neighborhood since KIDS. Queensbridge x Revenswood x Lefrak in this pic all relate. That last verse is GOSPEL. It's goes: Dead dreams, bought in sold..you gotta try and receive your goal However you do however you may don't EVER listen to what nobody say. Cuz I will tell u the deal u gotta go by what your heart feel. Cuz if u don't you'll be misled by stupid little things put inside your head. Or someone else that you will see their trying lead your destiny. By the time you think YOUR GROWN and then you say god damn I gotta leave my home. Grab hold of your heavy chain which people always pullin always trying to restrain. U heard just what I said they're always pullin u back when u wana get ahead. They pull u back cuz their not with it, u talk about school their talking bout quitting. Soon you'll see that time just fly cuz u spent most of it out gettin high. Thought about it much much later, could've went to school and been much greater. But u chose to lead that fate now your sucking on a bone when it should've been STEAK. The whole purpose of the story I told was mainly to inspire you to reach your goal Stop walking thru life as if you are blind Your Should reach for your GOAL cuz I'm reaching for Mine And I'm from THE BRIDGE!
