Although our road trip across the American West started in the warm, dry desert, it ended in this freezing cold, snowy mountain scene. On our last day of the trip, we enjoyed this winter sunrise at Crater Lake, in Oregon. It wasn’t just a gorgeous morning, it was the last of a series of adventures that underscored the huge diversity of beautiful landscapes you can enjoy right here in the United States. At this moment, we all felt pretty lucky.
