Great talking with design star Tom Dixon @トム ディクソン today about his recent design collaboration with @johnniewalker Blue Label! I always think it's interesting to hear how two strong brands distill the essence of their core values to create something new. How Tom focused on the copper used in the distilling process to create a "cage" and heavyweight stopper and elevated coaster. I was really impressed with the weight of the items, they felt so lux in the hand but Tom seemed more interested in the translucent blue of the bottle against the amber of the whiskey inside. #salondelmobile2017
