Erica est mexicaine, elle vit en Californie sans-papiers.  Selon la législation souhaitée par Trump, elle risque de se voir expulsée du territoire américain et obliger de quitter sa fille. En Californie, dans la Vallée centrale, 70 % des ouvriers agricoles sont illégaux. Si les clandestins sont expulsés, qui va s’occuper des récoltes? Que vont devenir les enfants nées aux Etats-Unis si leurs parents sont renvoyés au Mexique? Les associations apprennent aux immigrants à défendre leurs droits.

Erica Bejarano, 43 and her daughter Guadalupe Jacome, 11 in front of their home. Bejarano is undocumented and if deported her children who are US born citizens will be left live alone. "I am afraid. I have been here 24 years I have 3 kids 19, 17 and 11, I was born in Mexico but I have been here more than there. I am afraid of me being deported and leaving my kids. My plans is that my 19 year old son will watch my other 2 children I do not have any other family to help. I would like to say that if the President would have a heart for all of the families he is separating."
