The National Geographic Photo Ark would not be possible without the support of zoos and wildlife sanctuaries around the world. Because of this, it’s been a long-time dream of mine to see Photo Ark images on display in zoos. Today, that dream is coming true with the debut of the first ever National Geographic Photo Ark zoo exhibition at @theomahazoo.
The exhibit features images taken at the zoo like this one of the African penguin, along with more than 50 other photos that provide visitors with the chance to come face to face with animals from the Photo Ark.
The Photo Ark zoo exhibition will also open at the @dallaszoo and the @cincinnatizoo in the coming weeks. Check out the exhibits to learn more about the Photo Ark, its mission, and conservation efforts by participating zoos.
