"Today will be my third opening day, but today might also be the most memorable. Why? Because one of my biggest inspirations, one of my greatest mentors, and one of my very dear friend is singing the national anthem today in front of you all: our third base coach Tony Beasley. This man of God has touched so many lives in his life, including helping me turn mine around, and I hope today he continues to touch yours. I CANT WAIT! Today is the day where everyone's hard work this offseason starts to pay off. Today is the day new memories will be made. Today is the day we show everybody why the Texas Rangers have #lonestargrit I hope and pray everyday for the health of my family, my friends, myself, my teammates, my opponents, and the people who love watching us play.
