Last night's #SayHerName event was incredible. Thank you to all who came out or tuned in via livestream. Thank you to the poets, musicians and actors who shared their gifts to lift our spirits and our consciousness. Thank you Kimberle Crenshaw for your brilliance and leadership, the @aapolicyforum and the @hammer_museum for hosting. Most of all, thank you to the families who shared their grief in order to continue to fight for the visibility of their *taken* (not "lost") loved ones, and for the accountability of the police officers who killed them.
