I think TBT is lame, BUT- I had to find pics for my book, Girl Logic, coming soon, and I came across this one. Fitting that I would play on The Golden Girls as a kid and then go on to adopt a dog named Blanche as an adult. You can't see it, but I was #12, I wanted #13 because, as a child, I had a minor obsession with the occult and old school coolness (notices the Chuck Taylors, and this pic wasn't taken in 1956) but Tally Johnson took 13, so I took the number closest to evil, 12, and it's been my lucky number since. Another fun note, that she'll hate, over my right shoulder was my best friend, Erin. At 5'2, she towered over many of us. Now, at 35, I think she's the same height. I hope she enjoyed her glory days. #blanche (also? Smokey Husky just told me today is Wednesday. Whatever.)
