I feel so grateful to have a platform to speak my mind, and I will never take it for granted or use it to spread negativity. So, here I am using this platform to say that what has been happening online with cyber bullying is not ok. Especially when it is a parent targeting kids. There’s an old saying, “Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”… but I have to say, words hurt. Some days I would really rather have a stick thrown at me than cruel words. Life can be challenging enough as it is, especially as a teenager. The last thing you need to hear at the end of a day of filming and school and homework and working out is that you are fat, or sell your body for fame and money, or are not good enough.
Before you call someone a name, or criticize them negatively, think about how it would make you feel. Ask yourself, is what I'm saying right now going to help me live a happier life? Is what I'm saying right now productive? If we were all kind to one another…. or heck, if we just closed our mouths when we didn't have something nice to say… the world would be so much better off! Let’s get there!!! I am beyond thankful for you all and I hope that if you have been bullied, you know that you are not alone. We can stand up!!!
