From 'Donnie Darko' to 'Brokeback Mountain', today's #MCM and Esquire UK's (@ukesquire) April issue cover star, Jake Gyllenhaal, has been serving us brooding masculinity since ’91. Last year he burst back onto our screens as the sensitive writer and ex-lover of Amy Adam’s character in Tom Ford’s stylish second film, 'Nocturnal Animals'. And this year sees the release of the sci-fi thriller 'Life' (@lifemovieofficial) in which Jake stars alongside Ryan Reynolds in a fight against alien life-form on Mars.⠀
