I've accepted that, at 36 yrs old, my childhood dreams of becoming an Alvin Ailey dancer are not likely to be fulfilled in this lifetime, but that doesn't mean I won't continue to pursue my own dance. Dance isn't about the body, it's about the soul. So for as long as my body allows, I will push, stretch, & bend myself into the most beautiful version of me ?
