I hung with Curator @cdmatkins today and asked him about his role and we spoke about his role and duty as a curator. "Art has the power to inspire. To make us think, feel, marvel at technical skill, and change the way we see the world. My job is to provide opportunities for people to have those experiences. Among my greatest joys is to learn how artists today draw inspiration from the Museum just as great painters like Peter Paul Rubens (pictured) devised a wholly new pictorial language from what he saw." -Christopher Atkins
