At just 18 years old, Aleece Wilson left her small hometown of Windsor in Ontario, Canada with nothing but $20 in her pocket and a modeling career on the brain. ✨ But it hadn’t always been that way: before seeing red-haired and freckle-faced model Stacey McKenzie in a magazine given to her by a friend, Aleece hadn’t seen anyone that looked like her represented and assumed she just “was’t pretty enough.” Fast forward roughly four years and Aleece is shaping up to have a career most up-and-coming models would kill for. After walking for major shows like Yeezy, Alexander Wang, Saint Laurent, and Marc Jacobs, she was easily one of the most talked-about faces from all of Fashion Month. And this is only the beginning for the rising star. “I really want to be on the cover of a magazine,” she mused when we asked her about her dream gig. (For the record, we have no doubt she’ll get there.) But when she’s not busy slaying at shoots or strutting her stuff on the runway, Aleece is just like us. “I’m a very quiet, chill, and lazy person. When I’m not modeling, I’m reading, coloring, or watching documentaries,” she revealed.
