Futuristic vs. Traditional. You can make beautiful letterforms with traditional and modern technology. I love both. Use what you have access to, don't be frustrated by restrictions. Restrictions can spur creativity. One of the most popular pieces I've ever put online was drawn with two cheap Bic pens taped together. In the first piece here I used a Pilot Parallel Pen and Radiograph Universal 3080F ink, in the second I used iOrnament app/iPad Pro/Apple Pencil.
