There are places where you can feel the history, where people of good will try, together, to change it for the better...I am back from my short but intense presence at the United Nations bringing in my heart and in my eyes the emotion of many meetings, the inspiring power of many reflections, the strength of the many examples of women who have made of their lives a powerful weapon for the sake of others. I am back grateful, for the energy that in such fora of intelligence and sensitivity you can accumulate through listening and sharing experience. I am back happy to be a woman, thankful to those many extraordinary women, heroines of our time that this event has given me the opportunity to meet. #CSW61 @unwomen #AndreaBocelliFoundation
Vi sono luoghi dove si respira la storia, dove persone di buona volontà cercano, insieme, di cambiarla in meglio… Torno da questa mia breve ma intensa presenza alle Nazioni Unite, portando negli occhi e nel cuore l’emozione di tanti incontri, la potenza ispiratrice di tante riflessioni, la forza di tanti esempi di donne che hanno fatto della loro esistenza un’arma potente, per il bene degli altri. Torno grata, per quell’energia che in simili consessi d’intelligenza e sensibilità è possibile accumulare, attraverso l’ascolto e la condivisione delle esperienze. Torno, felice d’essere donna, riconoscente verso le tante donne straordinarie, eroine dei giorni nostri, che questo evento mi ha permesso di conoscere.
