I stand with @thecreativecoalition as they fight to protect the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities, the funding of which @ドナルド・トランプ said he would like to eliminate. Guess what? The federal budget of 3.89 trillion dollars will not be reimbursed by eliminating the funding of the #Nea and the #neh (which as of last year is only 0.02% of that whole 3.89 trillion) destroying these endowments will not make a damn bit of difference to the federal debt (estimated to be 20.1 trillion by the end of 2017) But it will take away the means of artistic expression within schools and community centers. It will gouge the funding of libraries and take away free standardized test tutoring. I'm not talking about Hollywood right now. I'm talking about every single town and city in this country. These are our museums and our public broadcasting systems. These are the after school programs that give students a home away from home and a voice. They are essential to us. I want to live in an #america where the arts are valued. #righttobeararts
