This month marks the six anniversary since the beginning of the conflict in Syria. When the war started, Nour, a Syrian refugee from Deir ez-zor, was a university student. "One day my father called me and said, ‘leave the city immediately and come to our village, the war has arrived here too. When the war stops, you will go back to university,’” Nour, 23, said. “Every day, I was waiting for the war to stop. But it never stopped. I had thought that after two weeks, I could go back to university. It has been six years now. My university doesn't exist anymore."
