My third grade teacher at Warner Avenue Elementary School allowed me to dig down deep and find the creativity that now shines in me every day. It was because of her I was able to muster up the confidence to enter a LAUSD Poetry Competition for my poem, "The Color Blue," and come in 3rd place! She really pushed me to my utmost potential and is a huge part of the creative spirit I am today. P.S. Thanks Dad for being another amazing teacher and video taping my poem!
