Phil Eaglesham contracted a condition called Q Fever at the end of his 3rd tour of Afghanistan. His condition was treated but the impact of his physical deterioration greatly affected his mental health.
Through help from charities, the NHS & sport, Phil is able to manage his mental health & has competed in the Paralympics in Rio.
Major Ivan Castro lost sight in both eyes serving in Iraq, which has affected both his physical and mental health.
Caroline suffers from mental health problems, as well as being physically injured. She also used sport to help her deal with it.
