Prince Harry lead a discussion with 3 former members of the UK & US Armed Forces: Caroline Buckle, Ivan Castro & Philip Eaglesham who all shared their personal experiences of managing their mental health. "Today we are fortunate to be joined by extraordinary people who have all faced mental health challenges," - Prince Harry. "They have learned to proactively manage their mental health. This all starts with a conversation," HRH.
The public perception is that 90% of the Armed Forces will experience some form of mental health issue connected with their service.
However, King's College London put the figure at around 10%. Such a misconception can be felt in many areas of life, such as employment.
