This little boy is Kinan, aged 7. When he was 2, his family was forced to flee their home in Syria, just as he was starting to talk. His mum told me he was so terrorised by the airstrikes he developed a stutter & then stopped speaking altogether. Although still shy, with the help of @savethechildren he has started to overcome his trauma & talk again (full story on link in bio)
