#Repost @naturallychea Most girls like to over do their highlight to get it popping, I, on the other hand, like to over do the hair products to get my curls poppin ?! A lot of you mentioned your coils come out frizzy so here's a video and some tips to getting the PERFECT coils: •Use A LOT of product, especially at the roots (don't worry about the white residue, it disappears when your hair dries) •Brush and smooth your hair COMPLETELY, if you have to, you can individually smooth out each section before coiling it •Coil very tightly at the root •If you've tried these before and the curl didn't really hold or came out frizzy, try the tips mentioned above but coil in the opposite direction this time as your curls may naturally curl that way (for me, I coil towards my face) •If you still have issues, you can always use a fine tooth comb to do the coils •Don't touch your hair until it is COMPLETELY dry or this WILL cause frizz. If you get too much frizz when separating then just make smaller coils so you don't have to separate them Hope this help dolls! This style takes me about 1-1.5 hours to complete depending on the size of the coils and can last about two weeks if maintained right. I used @sheamoisture4u JBCO leave in conditioner & @cremeofnature Argan Oil mousse. Please note that good elasticity is required for this hairstyle so if your hair is damaged, it will not coil tightly. The link to a full tutorial plus maintenance is in my bio! Only difference I did this time is do smaller coils so I wouldn't have to separate and coiled my entire head around one finger. Tag a #curlygirl who could use these tips ?? #hudabeauty
