Morning Glory. (4 Photo Series). One of my last mornings in Paris I looked outside my window to judge the conditions for sunrise, it looked grey and overcast…but decided since to head across the street to the Tuileries Garden anyway and shoot a bit. .

I said bonjour with my thick american accent to the doorman and casually walked out of the doors @lemeuriceparis But something was immediately different, I noticed the colour of the sky down the street starting to get brighter and the water in the gutter was beginning to glow from the reflection…so as I rushed across to the garden the sky continued to turn an amazing shade of orange, pink and purple. .

I snapped this shot and the 3 others in the series (swipe left to view them all). The glow lasted about 10 minutes, just enough time for me to make it down to the Lourve for the final shot. Just like that it was over…the streets began to fill with the hustle and bustle of the day and I then enjoyed the most amazing black truffle Eggs Benedict at Alain Ducasse’s restaurant…but that’s another story for another day.
