The #fbf story behind the newest edition to my dysfunctional family: 1969 Pontiac GTO Ram Air IV.
I went to Disneyworld when I was a lesser formed version of my adult self with my family. Just a kid with high topped sneakers and dreams even higher. My eyes were as clear as my balls. Girls were filterless & cute was pretty. Life was just dandy minus the alcoholism that haunted my home life but that's a story for another breakdown.
We hit the park on a rainy day. It was a lot of fun even though everything was wet. It was just a good time had by all. I went on this ride with cool sports cars on a track and something incredible happened to me. I felt - cool - I felt like a cool person and I'm not sure I ever felt that feeling. Plus I'm not cool - I mean I am now but that's a choice and a behavior.. on this day I felt cool in the most pure way possible. I told myself someday I will have car with Goodyear tires and maybe I will drive fast and get speeding tickets!!!
You've gotta dream big stupid dreams sometimes and make them real or life is a boring pile of depressing shit.
I'm wearing a poncho. Years later the word would become part of my BK routine. So many secrets hidden throughout Harmful If Swallowed that point to the self actualizing I've done to manifest this journey.
