What an honor, and an absolute privilege to be able to speak at events that are about empowering women. Thank you @shareignite And @humbercollege For having me at your school. I know I'm a day late for international women's day but let's keep it goin! There are so many women in my life that inspire me daily and make me want to be a better person. Tag someone who inspires you and impacts your life in a positive way. I'm gonna leave this with a message from one of my best friends @bricook.ca that is powerful, beautiful, and true..... ? "It needs to start with less judgment. My favorite Amy Poehler quote is "good for her! Not for me." Just because another woman does what's best for her, doesn't mean it's the wrong way just because you'd do it differently. If we all felt we had more support from other women, we'd feel more confident. We need to celebrate other women's success more. Rooting for failure doesn't help anyone. Any time a woman succeeds, it doesn't take away from you. Knowing other women will have your back and cheer you on will increase everyone's self worth." I could only tag so many of my girls but there are many more who I admire. ?
