Shear Maintenance How-To.
Tools needed: Rubbing Alcohol, Sam Villa Shear Maintenance Kit and Cotton balls.
•Gently clean the shear with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol, but be cautious of the sharp blade.
•Hold the shear at a 45˙ angle with the tip down, open shear and put a couple of drops of oil at the pivet point, open and close shears then let sit overnight.
•In the morning holding the shears downward, open and close a few times.
•Taking the shear wipe, wipe excess oils off of the shear.
