From the Aug. 4, 1947 photo essay: "TULSA TWINS: They show how much the teen-age world has changed." The story focused on the life of identical twins, Betty and Barbara Bounds, 17-year-old students of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Okla. This image ran with the following caption: "Boys and Parties, they are what a girl thinks about.
