RESPECT YOUR ROOTS

1997: Rancid's Tim Armstrong signs Dropkick Murphys to his Hellcat label, and releases the first song DKM ever wrote - 'Barroom Hero' - on the GIVE EM THE BOOT compilation.
1998 and 1999: Rancid's Lars Frederiksen produces the first two Dropkick albums, DO OR DIE and THE GANG'S ALL HERE.

In this picture from 2001: Rancid to the rescue again as Lars fills in for James Lynch on a monthlong US tour after James breaks his wrist.
