Tonight we saw Daughters of the Dust at @rosendaletheatre and got to hear Alva Rogers (who plays Eula) answer questions about working on the film 25 years ago. The visuals and dialects of Gullah in the movie were so stunning- and I loved learning that so many of the actors grew up on these islands and still love there today.
