I got this single @amoebahollywood, who alerted me that they had just acquired a whole bunch of punk 7"s from someone in Long Beach. When I was growing up in suburban New York, I was always a little envious of the LA punk scene. It looked open and fun. I love the artwork and songs on this. One of my favorite things in my life now is getting to ask band members directly about these records! Susanna Hoffs told me that this cost $35 to record, and that it took two hours. Also, that they originally made the covers at Kinko's. This is their first record ever. #bangles #thebangs
