9 years ago Federico and I got introduced to each other. Me as a Iraqi woman didn't allow myself to think that it was possible to have a future with an Italian man. I ignored every feeling I started to feel for him. I ignored my heart when it started to beat so fast when I was around him. I even tried to convince myself that loving a man outside my culture, religion or whatever you want to call it, wasn't real. It didn't exist.
I ignored, I tried...and I failed. I failed badly!
God give me a heart so I can love. Love beyond boundaries, skin colour, religion and culture. I look at Federico and I see a man who loves me with all my flaws. And believe me I have many of them! (except my hair lol)
I might have lost a lot but I gained so much more. I trusted God when I jumped and he was there to catch me!
So love with your heart and do not ignore it cause you might miss out on something so big❤
