An endangered Masobe gecko. This species can be found in Madagascar, and currently has a reported range of only 410 square kilometers of suitable habitat. However, the amount of quality living environment for these reptiles is quickly declining, due mainly to deforestation. If further research reveals that the true extent of livable habitat for this animal is less than 100 square kilometers it will be immediately listed as critically endangered.
