Thank you to the @nhmc_org for honoring me yesterday with the #ImpactAward for outstanding performance in a television series (@cwjanethevirgin) what a wonderful evening it was. The recognition meant a lot, not only for the immense respect I have for the work the #NHMC and Alex Nogales are doing to elevate the Latino community, but also for standing up for every single minority that is being bullied and segregated by an administration that very poorly hides bigotry and violence with populist propaganda. Indeed we should be a constant voice of justice and we must never stop the fight to treat every human, regardless of ideology, with tolerance, respect and love.

Gracias a la #NHMC por honrarme ayer con el #PremioImpacto por actuación excepcional en una serie de television (#janethevirgin) Fue una noche maravillosa! El reconocimiento significó mucho, no sólo porque admiro la labor de Alex Nogales y de la NHMC, sino porque también protegen a todas las minorías que están siendo violentadas por una administración que esconde, de manera muy poco eficiente, el odio e intolerancia con propaganda populista. En efecto, tenemos que ser una voz de justicia constante para lograr que se trate a todo ser humano, independientemente de su ideología, con tolerancia, respeto y amor.
