'When we think about make-up in the past we often associate it with seduction and ultra femininity,' legendary MUA Pat McGrath (@パット・マグラス) told us backstage at Prada #AW17 (@プラダ). 'But now that's shifted - more so than ever it's a statement of strength, individuality and personal identity. You can be anyone you want to be with make-up, and increasingly women are creating looks purely to please themselves over anyone else.' This self-love attitude inspired the 'rebellious' black and blue smudgy, smoky eye (one of three looks created) - a celebration of texture, colour and skill. Over on hair, visionary Guido (@guidopalau) chopped in chunky, jaw-length layers around the face and amped up the texture with Redken (@redkenuk) Windblown.
