We woke up at 6am to start on this epic day in Maui. Weather wasn't ideal. Windy and overcast. Took the boat out to get to these waves good ten minute ride from shore. Then jumped behind a jet ski being towed on a surf board. This I have never done before in my life let alone big wave surfing in Maui. Trusted my balls on this one and rode the biggest waves of my life that I never would have dreamed of surfing. Ended up riding out a 15 foot face wave and got stuck in between sets getting knocked around under water on 24 foot face waves. The most terrifying thing I've ever seen in front of me.
