When you loose someone in life it causes a time of reflection. The shark community is a small tight one, with people that carry a strong passion to protect our planet. @teamsharkwater Rob Stewart made a film called shark water that showcased the slaughtering of 100 million sharks every year and the horrific way they catch and kill these animals. @captainpaulwatson from the @seashepherd played a huge roll in impacting my life to get off my butt and do something to help. @juliesharkangel Julie from @sharkangels introduced me to @mornehardenberg who has been my mentor with sharks the last 6 years and she does amazing things with her org. I'm very blessed to have these people in my life and who continue to inspire me with their passion and all the others not in this photo who do so much to try and help this planet. Life is short, life is fragile and we only have this moment, right here right now. What am I going to do with the next moment I have? What can I do to make an impact? How can I help my fellows and what issue can I tackle and help do my part? #CarpeDiem
