One of the original “human computers,” Mary Winston-Jackson started working as a mathematician & aeronautical engineer in 1951 at NASA. Winston-Jackson impacted the rights of women & people of color in the workforce, by challenging discrimination and shedding light on the accomplishments of these groups.
