I'm sure you've noticed I haven't really been posting much lately. I made the decision before Thanksgiving to try and find a new home for Thomas. I wanted to wait until the new year and spend as much time as possible with him through the holidays. I've gone through so many emotions coming to the decision but I feel like the time is right and I am at peace with it. I reached out in January to the Seattle Persian and Himalayan Rescue and there has been some back and forth and they are going to try to help me find a new home for him. My baby deserves everything! Thomas is the most affectionate kitty that follows me around like a shadow! The cutest dang little puddle of mope! He has always had anxiety but it has gotten much worse with our toddler and he has issues with our other cats too who are more aggressive than he. It causes him to urinate outside the litter box. He also has food allergies and he has to eat prescription Hill's Z/D. He will be 4 years old in April and we live in the Seattle area. I've been hesitant to post about this but any path to finding Thomas a better situation with someone that will love him and nurture him as much as he deserves can't be wrong! Do you, or someone you know have the kind of love and home environment to give to him? I would not let myself say goodbye to Thomas for anything less than a stellar situation.
