Yesterday in Taiwan.. The Lungshan Temple is one of the most well-known temples in Taiwan. It was founded in 1738 and dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy (Kuan-in in Chinese, or Avalokitesvara in Sanskrit). In local tradition, those whose birth signs or other features clash that with the Tai Sui of the year means they could face disturbances for the current year. They are advised to conduct a prayer session to propitiate the deity, permitting peace and good fortune during the year. I was born in 1978 which is the year of Horse. It’s partially against the Year of Rooster this year. I was able to do a prayer ceremony to get luck for myself and of course, Eugene ?
